Furniture swapping

The futon saga continues, and is less exciting than it seemed yesterday. I e-mailed that guy back and asked if he could wait until Friday, and he couldn’t. Some other people have asked, and one guy wants to set up a time to look at it, but I won’t get my hopes up.

Meanwhile, yesterday, I bought a computer desk from Craigslist. It was a pain in the butt to move upstairs by myself. Last night (pre-storm), the former roommates one and two came by and brought me a dresser. They are living the dream this weekend, and making a roadtrip to a new life in Fort Collins, Colorado, and taking only what will fit in their hatchback Subaru. The dresser was expendible, and lucky for Brandon and me, because it is the shade of red we have decided we want our stuff to be.

They mentioned that I might get their bed, if they can’t find some way to get it to Colorado, but I am still looking just in case. It must be weird to have to get rid of 90 percent of your belongings. Meanwhile, my amount of stuff is growing rapidly.
