Hurray for my favorite lesbians and of course, Mr. Gibbard

Maybe I was too excited about getting to see Death Cab that I forgot to complain about this last time, but I hate Ticketmaster. They can bite me.

My single ticket for Death Cab and Tegan and Sara was $32, but it became a total of $43.35 after Ticketmaster’s $7.50 convenience fee and supposedly free shipping. If it had *actually* been $32, I could have bought a second ticket, but I really couldn’t afford a total of $87 for two tickets. Laaaame.

On the plus side, I am going to see two of my favorite bands! Now I have to listen to T&S’s OTHER albums, so I might actually know material that isn’t just the new stuff.

“The Con” and “Narrow Stairs” are pretty much my two favorite albums that have come out in the last year or so. “The Con” came out like last summer, but I didn’t discover it until this year, when CD101 started playing from it a lot.
