C’mon, Friday

Brandon and I are going to Marietta to see the new parents tonight. We have a busy weekend planned, so we thought we would go see them on a week night.

This weekend we are doing a lot.

Friday:

We are going to go see Keller Williams at the Newport. Brandon has already seen him twice. He says it’s an amazing live show, so that will be cool. I don’t usually like going to see artists who are completely unfamiliar to me, but Brandon is really excited about this.

Saturday:

We are going to a fund raiser for breast cancer research at The Melting Pot. They are giving participants a big big discount, and they will have $5 pink drinks. They will also have balloons for sale with prizes inside, like gift certificates to places around Easton.

That night, we are going to a midnight showing of "Grindhouse," the double feature from a couple years ago that is a collaboration between Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez. I am not so thrilled about that, because the 3 hour and 11 minute run time has us leaving the theatre at, oh, 3:11 a.m. I guess that’s what weekends are for, but I doubt I will make it to middle of feature number two.

Sunday:

Crash.

  1. Fun weekend!

Oooh! What a busy, fun weekend! I wish we had thought earlier about going to the Melting Pot…that would be so yummy. I know they’ll probably have more of those sometime. I’m still not completely recovered food-wise from being sick last week, so I want to go sometime when I’m hungry, and can actually “save up” for that day! I’m not really sure what our weekend will look like, although I really need to clean our apartment… -Jessie
