Some things to look forward to

Feeling better today.

I’m pretty relieved tomorrow is Friday, even though I have to work from 9 a.m. until 2 Saturday. At least I will build up some hours to take some time off next week, and then Saturday evening is the Holiday Hop down in the Short North. Brandon and I are heading down there with a couple we are friends with, and will be celebrating Brandon’s employment.

I’m going to another SNP-er’s going away party on Friday; it sounds like soon there will be hardly anyone I knew working there anymore. Even though I wasn’t around for long, it still makes me a little sad.

Brandon and I decided on our Christmas plans this week. He will be going home to Knoxville for a week, maybe longer, since he will be able to do that before starting his job. I will stay here in Columbus for Christmas, since I have to work the day after, a Friday. I’ll be with my Dad at my aunt and uncle’s, and my brother and his wife will be there Christmas Eve.

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, I am allowed to tell people that I will be an aunt this June; my brother and his wife told us that in October, the weekend I went to homecoming with Brandon.

I am really, really excited about this news. I am calling it now, she’s having a girl. Six months!
